Colorful Kite

Hope you have heard this – when we are children we want to grow up and be adults but when we are older we want to be children; but why this is so common with so many of us? Well, if people dream about growing up when they are still children, it’s usually because they feel restricted by the limits placed on them and they want to feel the freedom, but then when they grow up, they long for the days when they could play more often though there’s a limited freedom.

As we grow up, we gain more independence and autonomy in our lives, at some point of time in life we get a different perspective on and not everyone will be able to understand it initially. When we are in a committed relationship, our sense of freedom and independence may change as we navigate our lives together, by being together staying together and you’ll soon realize it just the blend in the relationship.

Even if freedom is not absolute, there is still freedom, with the biggest freedom being our choice of perspective. No matter where we are and what is our state of being in the present, we as individuals can still revise our state of mind and choose different perspectives and different thoughts in every time we wish to.

I wanna try touching the clouds,
Just like how the Kite does,
And still be connected to a thread;

I took a long time,
Realizing – my life lived was just for a sake,
Yes I took a bit long time,
Understanding you, enduring life,
