We had written in one of our recent poem that “Though you wish to take, I cannot give it to you; Though I wish to give, you cannot take a few” yes it is so true and this was written in the context that when it comes to our loved ones (family/friends/siblings etc.) we usually feel to be there for them in all their good/bad times and we’d be ready to feel for them and step into their shoes in their difficult times. You can read that entire poem here.

Although it is not practically possible; we tend to be with them supporting and doing all that we can do. In some cases, we have a habit of doing a ‘sacrifice’. Sacrificing our happiness for the sake of others will not make much changes to their life but makes us feel that it is a kind of support we give and we’re ok with it.

If sacrificing a bit of our happiness is resulting as something good for others or for you a feeling of ‘Yes I was there to help without being selfish’, then you shouldn’t have any regrets on it. Though this topic of ‘sacrifice’ has both pros and cons we sometimes forget everything and just be ready to sacrifice our happiness, postpone our happy moments, ignore the present own life and YES we all have done this at least once in our life.

It was a Monday morning around 8.30 am when I received a message saying ‘he’ is no more with us. What could be so bad then this which could strike anyone on the start of the week. Was lost in the world of memories for few minutes immediate next moment started to pen down my overwhelming thoughts.

Friendship and Love are the things in this world which are more powerful than death. Even if you don’t see your friend again, Even if you don’t see your loved ones again, your bond and all your love still matter. It was not recently but I have heard this message a few years ago same emotions with different thoughts and lots of memories left behind and one beautiful thing about these memories is that they help us emotionally reconnect with your friends/loved ones.

One very common mistake which we all do is to planning and saving the moments, the moments which are not in our control all the time, instead – if you learn to live in the moments and do the things then and there when you feel it, you could have fewer things at the end to feel regretted for and on missing someone we feel happy that we enjoyed the life and we made the most of it.

Always keep in mind that life can end at any moment and you need to make the best of it so you can truly say you’ve enjoyed life to the fullest and don’t let your memories fade away.

We usually create illusions of reality in our own minds to justify our self doing things that we know are not right, and we end up believing our own lies to ourselves to do things we know are wrong. It becomes understandable that it is the mistakes that we don’t know that we are making which are most dangerous.

We learn by our mistakes and we also make sure some of them won’t be repeated even for our beloved ones. Sometimes there comes a day wherein you just don’t understand why the person whom you are trying to help doesn’t just get the point which is so clear and evident. Of course, there might be many other reasons behind it but once you get to know its just the ‘ego’ is what behind it you go silent.

Yes, it is true ‘water loses its value when offered to a person ordering a juice’, but when you know that juice doesn’t quench thirst it’s actually the water what is in need for them that is when you really feel bad for them. It’s a bitter truth we should have you digest what Bryant McGill says in the above quote.

In our life at some point of time, we are hit by this thought that ‘Realizing that finding someone to love is a lot easier than finding someone to love you’, this could be late realization but its never too late to make it up.

In a sense, you miss noticing in the race of finding the best one for you while ignoring the one who you can make by your side forever. Love has been in your life since you were born and you realize that it has many of its forms as you grow up. Love can easily be compared with a Rainbow, though we can define its colors (VIBGYOR) surprisingly there are plenty of other color formations hidden in it as like the love.

Healthy fights make a relationship vigorous, it just makes the bond between the two stronger. Small fights and patch-ups show up the amount of care and love they have for each other. Healthy fights always bring out the best in relationships.

Here’s a poem describing the situation after a healthy fight meanwhile realizing why he/she ask for the forgiveness every time no matter who or what’s the reason for the fight was. The poem is a bit funny but at the same time a relatable poem to everyone.

Hope this helps someone – find the reason (if they aren’t aware) why they always end up saying sorry in their relationship. Having said that not all the one’s who ask for the forgiveness remark that they have made the mistake, it sometimes also means that relationship/love is more important than a silly fight

Do recommend YOU not to rush on anything in life when the time is right, it WILL happen. It is so true that life is a series of steps, things are done gradually. Once in a while, there is a giant step, but most of the time we are taking a small, seemingly insignificant step on the stairway of life. The feeling of rushing prevents you from experiencing fun things in life. Because you feel they will slow you down, and when you slow down, you feel guilty and left behind.

So it’s okay to wait for the love you deserve, instead of compromise or settle just because of loneliness. Having said that – Here we are with a poem of ‘a girl expressing her feelings’ on how she’s waiting for her soulmate with her cute little expectations. ನೀನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು..

ಮಾಯವಾಗುವೆ ನಾ ಕಣ್ಣತೆರೆದರೆ,
ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಹೋಗುವೆ ನಾ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ,
ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿರಲು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು,
ನೋಡಬೇಕು ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನತುಂಬುವಷ್ಟು,
ಸಾಕಿನ್ನು ನೀ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಕನಸಲಿ,
ಸಾಕಿನ್ನು ನೀ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಕನಸಲಿ;

ಬಯಸಿರಲು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು –
ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ,
ನಾ ನಾಡಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನೀ ಆಲಿಸು,
ಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಮುನಿಸು,
ಮೊದಲು ನೀನೇ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ‘ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು’,
ಕನಸಲ್ಲೂ ನೀ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೆ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು,
ಒಲವಿದು ಮರೆಸುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವಯಸ್ಸು,
ಒಲವಿದು ಮರೆಸುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವಯಸ್ಸು,

ಹೀಗೊಂದು ನನ್ನ ಒಲವಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕನಸು
ಬಾ ಬೇಗ ನೀ ಮಾಡು ಇದ ನನಸು,
ಬಾ ಬೇಗ ನೀ ಮಾಡು ಇದ ನನಸು..!”

In the course of Life, we meet some people so special, whom we think to have them by our side, in our life always – as a friend (at the first place) and the initial impulsive feelings do not let to miss them for any reason.

But what If even that person is feeling the same towards you? Yes, this hardly happens in life and so you have to experience it before you feel it. We hope anyone CAN experience it reading this poem and here it is true, for the person in the poem. No, we are not talking about having a crush.

“ನನಗೆ ಅರಿಯದಂತೆ ನಾ ಬೆರೆತೆ ನಿನ್ನಲಿ,
ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಗ್ಧ ಮಾತಲಿ,
ಬೆರೆತು, ಮರೆತೆ ನಾ ನನ್ನಲಿ,
ನನ್ನ ಈ ಮನದಲಿ;

ಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದೆನು ನೀ ಇರುವುದೆಂದು ಆಗಸದಲಿ,
ನನಗೆಂದೂ ಎಟುಕದ ಅಂತರದಲಿ,
ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಾಗಲೇ ನೀ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೆ ನನ್ನ ಮನದ ಹಾದಿಯಲಿ,
ಮುಗ್ಧನಗೆಯೊಂದನು ಬೀರುತಲಿ;

ಮೂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಭಾಂದವ್ಯವೇ ಬಲು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ,
ಅದನ್ನು – ಸ್ನೇಹವಾಗಿಸೋಣ,
ಅದನ್ನು – ಸ್ನೇಹವಾಗಿಸೋಣ;

ಮಾತಾಗಿಹುದು ನಮ್ಮಿಬರಲಿ ಹಲವು,
ಹೇಳಲೇ ಬೇಕಾದಂತವು ಇನ್ನು ಉಳಿದಿವೆ ಹೇಳವು,
ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರಲಿ – ಆ ಮಾತಿನ ಒಲವು,
ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರಲಿ – ಆ ಮಾತಿನ ಒಲವು;

ನಮ್ಮಿ ಸ್ನೇಹದಲಿ, ಸದಾ ಜೊತೆಗಿರುವೆನು,
ನೀನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಖ-ದುಃಖಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೇರೇನನು ಬಯಸದೆ,
ಬಾ ಸಾಗೋಣ ನಾವು –

“ಎಲ್ಲರಂತಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪ,
ಅವರ ಗುಣಗಳವು ಬಲು ಅಪರೂಪ;

ಅವರು ಬಂದ ಹಾದಿ – ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಸುಖವೆನಲ್ಲಾ,
ಕಷ್ಟದ ದಿನಗಳವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲಾ;

ಹಗಲಿರುಳು  ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟಿರಲು ನಮಗಾಗಿ,
ಏನನ್ನು ಬಯಸದೆ ತಾವು ತಮಗಾಗಿ;

ಅಕ್ಕರೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯದು ಸಾಗರದಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡದು,
ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸೇವೆ ಬಲು ಚಿಕ್ಕದು,
ನಾವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸೇವೆ ಬಲು ಚಿಕ್ಕದು;

ಸಾಲದದು ನಿಮಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಹಲವಾರು ಬಂಧುಬಾಂಧವರು,
ಇರಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪನಂಥಾ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು.

ಅಪ್ಪ – ನಮ್ಮಿ ಸಂಸಾರವೆಂಬ ರಥದ ಸಾರಥಿ,
ಅವರೊಂದು ಸಹನಾ ಮೂರುತಿ.
ಅವರಿಗಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾರು ಸಾಟಿ
ಅವರಿಗಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾರು ಸಾಟಿ.

ನಾ ನಡೆವೆ ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶದ ಹಾದಿಯಲಿ,
ಆ ಹಾದಿಯ ಸುಕಾಂತ್ಯ ಅಡಗಿಹುದು ಅವರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದಲಿ.
ಎಲ್ಲರಂತಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪ,
ಅವರ ಗುಣಗಳವು ಬಲು ಅಪರೂಪ.
ದೇವರು ನೀಡಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಯಸ್ಸು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ,
ಅದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ,
ಅದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ..”

We all inadvertently save some’things’ in our lives for a special moment, without even realizing that there is no such ‘special’ moment but it’s all in our mind that how we treat every moment and feel towards it.

“ನೆನಪೊಂದರ ಗೂಡಲಿ,
ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆನಪುಗಳ,
ಅಳಿಸಲಾಗದಂತಹ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಕೆಲವು,
ಅಳೆಯಲಾಗದಂತಹ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಹಲವು,
ನೆಪವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆನಪಾಗುವ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ
