Women’s Day significance is to celebrate womanhood and recognize her achievements without regard to divisions – national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. It is a one-day celebration in the calendar but we do celebrate it knowingly or unknowingly all the days wondering how?
It is by the respect we show towards her, it is by the love, care & affection we show to her also we celebrate each day by allowing her to do all that she wishes to do in her life; A life that includes all of us.

Yes, no matter what stage she is in – she takes the responsibilities as her own until her last breath. Her qualities, her innocence, her way of thinking and the way she cares definitely one will fall out of words expressing. Still have tried a bit to express here.

“ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಅಕ್ಷರವ ನಂಬಿ,
ಮದುವೆ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಅಕ್ಷರಕ್ಕೆ ಓಗೊಟ್ಟು,
ಆ ಮೂರು ಗಂಟಿನೊಡನೆ ಹೊಸ ನಂಟೊಂದನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿ,
ಅವನ ಕಿರುಬೆರಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು,
ಅಗ್ನಿಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೂರು ಸುತ್ತಾ ಸುತ್ತಿದೊಡನೆ,
ಹೊಸ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಡುವೆ ನೀನು..
ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಗುರುತಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೆ ಎಲ್ಲರದನು;

ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ,
ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮಾನವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಲವಿನ ಕಸಿಯ ನೆಟ್ಟು,
ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ,
ಬೇರೊಂದು ಮನೆಯ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲು ಹೊರಟುನಿಲ್ಲುವೆ ನೀನು..
ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಗುರುತಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೆ ಎಲ್ಲರದನು;

ನಿನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಲೂ,
ನಿನ್ನದೇನೇ ಗುರಿ, ಆಸೆ, ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ,
ಅವುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀನೆಲ್ಲರನು
ಸಂತೈಸುವೆ,
ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದಿರಿಸುವೆ,
ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಲು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನ ಗುರಿತಿಸುವೆ ನೀನು..
ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಗುರುತಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೆ ಎಲ್ಲರದನು;

ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳೇ ಸಾಲದು ಬಣ್ಣಿಸಲು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು,
ಬಣ್ಣಗಳೇ ಸಾಲದು ವರ್ಣಿಸಲು ನಿನ್ನ ತನವನ್ನು,
ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿರುವೆ ಈ ಕೆಲಸಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನು,
ನಿನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಟಿಯಾಗಿರುವೆ ನಿನಗೆ ನೀನು..
ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಗುರುತಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೆ ಎಲ್ಲರದನು;

ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಮಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣ್ಣಾದರೂ,
ಮತ್ತೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬರುವಳು ಅವಳು,
ಗುರುತಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೇ ಎಲ್ಲರು ಅವಳನ್ನು,
ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಯಾವಾತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಹೊನ್ನು..

ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಿಸುವೆ ಇಂದು ನಾನು,
ಗೌರವಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು, ಈ ಜಗದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣನು,
ಕಾಣುವೆನು ಅವರಲಿ ಆ ಹೊನ್ನಿನ ಗುಣವನು,
ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು,
ಒಂದಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ದಿನ,
ನನ್ನಂತೆಯೆ ಗುರುತಿಸುವರೆಲ್ಲರದನು..
