We all inadvertently save some’things’ in our lives for a special moment, without even realizing that there is no such ‘special’ moment but it’s all in our mind that how we treat every moment and feel towards it.

Here’s a poem describing one such ‘moment of realization’ with a message that – we should live life to the fullest and saving something would just be memories that we cannot relive again. Good Luck with your Life!

“ನೆನಪೊಂದರ ಗೂಡಲಿ,
ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆನಪುಗಳ,
ಅಳಿಸಲಾಗದಂತಹ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಕೆಲವು,
ಅಳೆಯಲಾಗದಂತಹ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಹಲವು,
ನೆಪವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆನಪಾಗುವ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ
ಸಂತೋಷದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳೇ ಈ ನೆನಪುಗಳು;

ಕಳೆದಿರಲು ಸಮಯವು, ಅದರ ನೆನಪುಗಳಲ್ಲಾ,
ನೆನಪುಗಳವು ಉಳಿದಿರಲು ಇಂದಿಗೂ,
ಆ ನೆನಪೊಂದರ ಗೂಡಲಿ,
ನೆನೆದಾಗ ಖುಷಿಯ ಕೊಡುವುದು,
ಮನ ಅದಾವುದೆ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ,
ಮನ ಅದಾವುದೆ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ;

ಇನ್ನು – ನೆನಪದು ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿನಗಳು,
ಮತ್ತೆಂದೂ ಮರುಕಳಿಸದು,
ಮತ್ತೆಂದೂ ಮರುಕಳಿಸದು;

ನೆನೆಪೊಂದರ ಗೂಡಲಿ,
ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟೆ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೆನಪುಗಳ,
ತಪ್ಪು ಅರಿವಾಗಿದೆ ಇಂದು –
ಬಚ್ಚಿಡುವ ಬದಲು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ನಾ ಅದನು,
ಬಚ್ಚಿಡುವ ಬದಲು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ನಾ ಅದನು;

ಬಚ್ಚಿಡೆನು ನಾ ಇನ್ನೆನನು,
ಓ ನೆನಪೇ ಈ ನೆನಪ,
ತಲುಪಿಸು ಅವರ ಮನದಲಿ,
ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರು ಆ ದಿನಗಳು,
ಬೇಸರವಿಲ್ಲ ನನಗೆ,
ಮರುಕಳಿಸಬೇಕಷ್ಟೇ ಆ ದಿನದ ಸಂತೋಷವು,
ಬೀರುತಲಿ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಿ ಆ ಕಿರುನಗೆ..
ಬೀರುತಲಿ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಿ ಆ ಕಿರುನಗೆ..”

ಮೌನ ಮಿತಿ ಮೀರಿದಾಗ

Often people won’t speak up when they really have to. They may be scared of hurting another person, looking mean or foolish and might think it will make a mess in everyone’s lives. Sometimes it seems like staying silent is the wiser choice but not always. Your silence can be a deemed approval and no one can know what you feel and think unless you speak it up. If you wait around for people to notice or read your mind, you will likely end up on many paths that are not of your own choosing.

Here’s a poem describing one such situation. A friend who’s trying to convince the other being there as a support. Hope you LIKE it and please do comment your thoughts.

ಆಸೆಗಳ ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ,
ನಿನ್ನ ನಿರಾಸೆಯೆ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದಿರಲು.
ನಗುವೆ ಹೇಗೆ ನೀನು,
ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಮೌನವೆ ತುಂಬಿರಲು;

ನಿನ್ನ ಮೌನದಲೂ ನಾ ಆಲಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆ,
ನೀನಾಡದ ಮಾತುಗಳ,
ಸೋತರೇಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರು,
ಅರಿಯಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನದ ಆಳ; (2)

ಒಡೆದಿರಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸೆಗಳ ಕನ್ನಡಿ,
ಕಾಣದಾಗಿದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಅದರಲಿ,
ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಲು ಎಲ್ಲರು ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾವನೆಯ ನುಡಿ,
ಮುರಿಯದೇಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೌನವು, ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿ,
ಹೇಳು,
ಈ ಮೌನದಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವೆ ನಿನ್ನ
ಹೊಸ ಜೀವನದ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ? (2)

ಆಸೆಗಳ ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ,
ನಿನ್ನ ನಿರಾಸೆಯೆ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದಿರಲು.
ಖುಷಿಯನ್ನೆ ನಾ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ,
ಮೊದಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷವನು ನಾ ಕಾಣಲು;
ನಿನ್ನ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳಲಿ
ಇರಲಿ ನನಗೂ ಪಾಲು,
ಜೊತೆಯಿರುವೆ ಕೊನೆಯವರೆಗೂ,
ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹವಿರಲಿ ನನಗೇ ಮೀಸಲು..

ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಅಜ್ಜಿ

Having a Grandmother is such a blissful feeling. Though we didn’t realize their worth initially, we did – as we grew up. Being with her makes our life easy and seeing through her perspective we see the other side of this world – so wonderful. Though words are deficient to express, have tried a bit to covey my feelings towards my granny

“ಜೀವವದು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿಹುದು,
ಜೀವವದು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿಹುದು,
ಜೀವವದು ಜೀವನವ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಲು,
ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಹಂಚಿರಲು,
ನಿಷ್ಕಲ್ಮಷ ಭಾವನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜೀವವದು,
ಜೀವವದು ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲವಾದದ್ದು;

ಓ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಅಜ್ಜಿ,
ಮತ್ತೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ ಬಾ,
ಬಾಳಲಿದೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ,
ಬಾಳಲಿದೆ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ..

ನೀ ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಥೆಯು, ಇನ್ನು ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲೇಇಹುದು,
ದೂರಾಗಬೇಡ ನಮ್ಮ ನೆನಪುಗಳಿಂದ,
ಮರೆಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾ ನಿನ್ನನು;

ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಿರಲಿ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ತಪ್ಪಿಗಾಗಿ,
ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು ಹೇಗೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ,
ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸು ನೀ ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನು.. [2]

ಕೊಡಲೇನು ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲಾ ನಾ ನಿನಗೆ,
ಆದರೆ ನೀ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟಿದೆ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ,
ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಾ ನಾ ಕಳೆದಯಾವ ಕ್ಷಣವನು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ,
ಮೆಲುಕಾಕುವೆ ನಾ ಅದನು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯವರಿಗೆ,
ಬೇಸರವೊಂದೇ ಅಜ್ಜಿ,
