Do recommend YOU not to rush on anything in life when the time is right, it WILL happen. It is so true that life is a series of steps, things are done gradually. Once in a while, there is a giant step, but most of the time we are taking a small, seemingly insignificant step on the stairway of life. The feeling of rushing prevents you from experiencing fun things in life. Because you feel they will slow you down, and when you slow down, you feel guilty and left behind.

So it’s okay to wait for the love you deserve, instead of compromise or settle just because of loneliness. Having said that – Here we are with a poem of ‘a girl expressing her feelings’ on how she’s waiting for her soulmate with her cute little expectations. Also, If you are a guy who’s reading this am sure you enjoy it and if you are a girl who’s reading this you might go back to your own set of imaginations that you had or have on your soulmate

“ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಹಚ್ಚದೆ ಕಾದಿರುವೆ ನಾನು,
ಈ ನನ್ನ ಒಲವಿನ ಲೋಕದಲಿ,
ಬರುವವರೆಗು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ,
ನೀ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲಿ;

ಆಸೆಗಳೆಂಬ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಮನ ಕೂಡಿಟ್ಟಿರಲು,
ಕಾತುರದಿ ಕಾದಿವೆ ಈ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು,
ಬರುವೆಯೆಂದು –
ನೀನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು..
ನೀನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು..

ಮಾಯವಾಗುವೆ ನಾ ಕಣ್ಣತೆರೆದರೆ,
ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಹೋಗುವೆ ನಾ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ,
ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿರಲು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು,
ನೋಡಬೇಕು ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನತುಂಬುವಷ್ಟು,
ಸಾಕಿನ್ನು ನೀ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಕನಸಲಿ,
ಸಾಕಿನ್ನು ನೀ ಬಂದದ್ದು ಕನಸಲಿ;

ಬಯಸಿರಲು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು –
ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ,
ನಾ ನಾಡಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನೀ ಆಲಿಸು,
ಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನಗೆ ಮುನಿಸು,
ಮೊದಲು ನೀನೇ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ‘ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು’,
ಕನಸಲ್ಲೂ ನೀ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನೆ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು,
ಒಲವಿದು ಮರೆಸುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವಯಸ್ಸು,
ಒಲವಿದು ಮರೆಸುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವಯಸ್ಸು,

ಹೀಗೊಂದು ನನ್ನ ಒಲವಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕನಸು
ಬಾ ಬೇಗ ನೀ ಮಾಡು ಇದ ನನಸು,
ಬಾ ಬೇಗ ನೀ ಮಾಡು ಇದ ನನಸು..!”

Love is a very beautiful feeling. We get to see it in nature very often – the way earth receives the first rain, the way plants grow and responds to sunshine etc., Imagine what if the Cloud (ಮೇಘ) have fallen in love with the Sky (ಬಾನು) and also getting married to each other? How would that be..

Here’s what she has to say him, an imaginative poem which can be relatable to the one who’s marrying their love of life. “ನೀ ನನ್ನ ಬಾನು,
ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಘ,

ಸ್ನೇಹವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರದು ಬಲುಬೇಗ,
ಇಂದು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿಹುದು ನಮ್ಮೀ ಮಿಲನದ ಯೋಗ;

ಬಹುದಿನದ ಕನಸದು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಿರಲು,
ಜೊತೆಯಿರುವೆ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲದಲು;

ಸದಾ ಬಯಸಿರುವೆ ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲಿಸುವ ಕಿವಿಯೆನ್ನ,

ಕಾಣಲಾರೆ ಯಾರಲೂ

At times we come across the phase wherein we feel that – one who is loving us, started showing the same feelings to others also which probably might not be true always. In those situations no matter what the issue is, one will not concede to lose and cannot imagine the life without their loved one instead try to reassure every possible thing(s).
Here’s a similar ‘convincing story’ in this poem covering all those aspects, hope it helps you recollect your own story (if there was any ) Hope you LIKE it. We would love your thoughts, please do comment!

“ಕಾಣಲಾರೆ ಯಾರಲೂ ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ,
ನೋಡಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಲೂ ನೀ ನನ್ನ;

ಯಾರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಹಂಚಲಾರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನ,
ತೋರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀ ಅದನ್ನ;

ಕೊಡ ಬಯಸುವೆ ನನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನು,

ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಭಾವಿಸಬೇಡ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ;

ಕೊಡು ನೀ ನಿನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಖ ದುಃಖಗಳನು ಎನಗೆ,
ಅಡಗಿಹುದು ನನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ,
ನೀನಿಲ್ಲದ ಜೀವನವ ಊಹಿಸುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ..?
ನೀನಿಲ್ಲದ ಜೀವನವ ಊಹಿಸುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ…??”
